Bipolyar tranzistor is defined as a semiconductor device with two p-n junctions and three electrodes (external terminals) that relies on the movement of electrons and holes. It consists of three semiconductor layers capable of p-n-p or n-p-n conductivity (Fig. 4.1a and b)
