Potentiometric measurements are an electroanalytical method used to determine chemical reactions or component concentrations. These measurements are carried out by determining changes in strength or potential. Potentiometric analysis is primarily carried out using pH, ion-selective electrodes, and other sensors. For example, pH measurements are used to determine hydrogen ion concentrations. The measurement process is conducted through an electrode cell and results are expressed in millivolts (mV). The advantage of potentiometric methods lies in their high sensitivity and wide range of application, making them valuable in various fields of chemistry and biological research
