Шашмақом is the classical musical heritage of the Uzbek and Tajik peoples, consisting of 6 main maqoms: Buzruk, Rost, Navo, Dugoh, Segoh, and Yorq. Each maqom is characterized by various melodies, tunes, and rhythms. Recognized by UNESCO as an important cultural heritage, particularly in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan
